White Label Courier Software Development in India
We build your own white label courier software: web admin, rider app and tracking page, under your brand, with no fee for each parcel.
Written from production. Our articles draw on products we run live and the client work behind them, and are revised as the systems they describe evolve.
Most courier firms in India start on rented software. Every parcel adds a fee. The tracking page shows the vendor's name, not yours. Your franchise partners log in to someone else's system. And if you leave, your parcel history stays behind. White label courier software fixes this. It runs under your name, on your domain, with your logo on every screen your customers and riders see.
PRS India does custom web application development for courier companies. We build your own courier software. It has a web admin for the office and hubs. It has a rider app for pickups and deliveries. And it has a tracking page for your senders. This guide explains what white label courier software in India should include, and how we build it for you.
Key takeaways
- White label means your brand on the admin, the rider app, the tracking page and the SMS sender name.
- It must cover the full parcel trip: pickup, hub, bag, trip between hubs, delivery, proof and return.
- If you run franchise partners, each hub must see only its own parcels.
- You should own the source code and the data, so no vendor can switch you off.
- A custom build has no fee for each parcel. You pay for the build and optional support.
What is white label courier software?
White label software is built once and then sold or run under another company's brand. For a courier business, it means the parcel system looks fully yours. Your senders see your name on the tracking page. Your riders open an app with your logo. Your hub staff log in to your web address.
You can see the products we have built as proof. It is different from a plain monthly plan. With a monthly plan, you rent a seat in someone else's system. With white label courier software, the system itself carries your brand. With a custom build from us, you also get the source code.
Who needs white label courier software in India
We see four kinds of courier businesses ask for their own branded system.
- Regional courier companies. They run a few hubs in one or two states. They want to look as organised as the national brands.
- Franchise networks. The main company gives each franchise partner a login. Each partner sees only its own area.
- Last-mile partners for online sellers. They pick up from sellers and deliver in their city. Sellers want tracking links and daily reports.
- Warehouses adding delivery. A 3PL warehouse starts its own delivery wing and needs parcels and riders in one place.
Our logistics platform development work covers all four. The parcel flow is close. The roles, reports and access rules are what change.
Franchise partners often bill under their own GST number. If so, the software must keep each partner's bills and reports apart. The registration rules are on the GST portal.
The problem
Why courier firms outgrow rented software
The same five issues come up when a courier firm tells us why it wants its own system.
- Fees grow with every parcel. More parcels should mean more profit. On a per-parcel plan, the software bill grows too.
- Someone else's name. The tracking link and SMS carry the vendor's name. Your senders learn that name, not yours.
- No partner walls. Franchise partners can see each other's parcels, or the plan charges extra for separate hubs.
- Fixed statuses. You want a "bag short at hub" status or a hold for failed attempts. The plan does not allow it.
- Data you cannot take. Leaving means losing years of parcel, proof and return history.
What your white label courier software includes
Below is the parcel trip, part by part. Each part is a screen your team uses every day. The base we start from is our courier and hub management software. It covers parcels, hubs, riders, proof of delivery and cash on delivery.
1. Pickups from senders
Each pickup is a task with the sender's address, the rider, the date and the number of parcels. The rider marks each parcel as picked. A pickup with fewer parcels than booked shows as "Partial". The office can then call the sender the same day.

2. Bags and trips between hubs
Parcels going to the same hub are packed into one bag. Scanning the bag moves every parcel inside it. Bags then travel on a trip, with a tracking number, origin, destination and expected date. A late trip is marked "Overdue".

3. Hub dashboard for each branch or partner
Each hub manager sees what is coming in and what is on the floor. They also see what waits for dispatch and what came back. A franchise partner sees only its own hub. The head office sees all of them.

4. Delivery tasks and proof at the door
Parcels for one customer on one day become one delivery task. The rider sees the address, the attempt count and who received the parcel. You decide what the rider must collect at the door: a photo, a signature, a short video or a one-time code.
The rider app is built in Flutter for Android and iPhone. It saves scans on the phone first, so a weak signal does not lose them.

Buyers who never get a parcel can complain to the National Consumer Helpline. A clear proof record on each delivery helps you answer such a complaint.
5. Reports you can send to partners and senders
Trip, pickup, delivery, return, damage, GPS and staff reports export to Excel, CSV or PDF. Under white label, these files carry your name too. A partner can download its own hub's report without calling the head office.
What "white label" should cover
Some vendors call a logo upload "white label". That is not enough. Check each place your brand should appear.
| Place | What should carry your brand |
|---|---|
| Web admin | Your name, logo, colours and web address |
| Rider and hub app | App name, icon and store listing under your own developer account |
| Tracking page | Your domain, your logo, your support number |
| SMS and WhatsApp | Your sender name and message wording |
| Labels and reports | Your name on parcel labels, PDFs and Excel files |
| Emails | Sent from your own email domain |
Two rules to plan for. Business SMS in India must follow TRAI rules on commercial messages. These include registering your sender name and message templates. See the TRAI page on commercial communication. Customer names, phones and addresses are personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Check the details with your lawyer.
White label vs monthly plan vs custom build
| What you need | Monthly courier plan | Off-the-shelf white label | Custom build from PRS India |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your brand everywhere | No | Mostly | Yes |
| Fee for each parcel | Often | Sometimes | No |
| Separate view for each franchise hub | Extra cost | Depends | Built in |
| Your own statuses and hold rules | No | Limited | Yes |
| Source code | No | Usually no | Yours |
| Data on your own server | No | Depends | Yes |
Worked example: a courier with three franchise hubs
Here is how one parcel moves through a white label system. The names are examples.
- Booking. An online seller uploads a CSV of parcels to your sender portal. Each parcel gets a waybill number and a label with your logo.
- Pickup. Your city rider picks up from the seller. The task shows "Partial" because one parcel was not ready.
- First hub. The parcels are scanned in at your main hub. They are packed into a bag for the partner hub in the next city.
- Trip. The bag travels on a trip. The partner hub scans it in. Only that partner sees the parcels from now on, plus your head office.
- Delivery. The partner's rider delivers, takes a photo and a one-time code, and closes the task.
- Tracking. The buyer follows each step on your tracking page, on your domain.
- Month end. You download each partner's delivery and return report to settle accounts.
Our service
How we build your white label courier software
We start from parcel and hub screens we have already built, then shape them around your network.
- Map your network. We list your hubs, partners, statuses and reports in one or two calls.
- Show the screens. You click through the screens first, with your logo and colours, and ask for changes.
- Build the apps. A web admin in Laravel, a rider and hub app, and a tracking page for your senders.
- Test with real parcels. One hub uses it for real. We fix what your riders and hub staff find.
- Launch under your brand. Your app store accounts, your domain, your own server set up and secured.
- Grow with you. New partner hubs, new cities and new reports, added when you need them.
White label courier software development cost: what decides it
We do not publish a fixed price, because courier networks differ a lot. The cost depends on how many apps, roles and reports you need. It also depends on the outside services you connect. These can be SMS, WhatsApp, payment links or a seller's online store. You may plan to rent the system to other courier firms as a SaaS. That adds billing and separate accounts.
| Monthly courier plan | Your own white label software | |
|---|---|---|
| Start | Quick, small first payment | A few weeks to build and test |
| As parcels grow | The bill often grows too | No fee for each parcel |
| Brand | The vendor's | Yours |
| Partner hubs | Often extra | Built for your network |
| Data and code | Stay with the vendor | Yours |
Share your hub count, partner setup and the reports you need. We send a written quote after one call.
Whoever builds your white label courier software, make sure it can:
- Show your brand on the admin, apps, tracking page, labels and SMS
- Keep each franchise hub's parcels hidden from other hubs
- Move every parcel in a bag with one bag scan
- Save rider scans on the phone when there is no signal
- Let you choose the proof needed at the door
- Send failed parcels back to the origin after a hold you set
- Export every report to Excel or CSV
- Hand over the source code and a full data export
FAQ
What is white label courier software?
It is courier software that runs under your company's name. Your logo and domain appear on the admin, the rider app, the tracking page and the messages. Your customers never see the builder's name.
How long does it take to build white label courier software?
It depends on the number of apps, hubs and reports. After one call, we share a plan with dates for each part. You see clickable screens before the build starts.
Will I own the source code?
Yes. We hand over the source code and the data stays on your server. You can change developers later if you want.
Can my franchise partners use it?
Yes. Each partner gets its own login and sees only its own hub's parcels, riders and reports. The head office sees all of them.
Do you build both Android and iPhone apps?
Yes. We build the rider and hub app for Android and iPhone from one codebase. We also build the web admin and the tracking page.
Is customer data safe in courier software?
It should be. Names, phones and addresses are personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We build role-based access, an activity log and hidden details on the public tracking page.
Can I sell the software to other courier companies?
Yes, if you plan for it. We can add separate company accounts and billing. Then you can rent your system to other courier firms under your brand.
Can PRS India build courier software for my company in India?
Yes. We build courier software around your hubs, partners and statuses: a web admin, a rider and hub app, and a tracking page. Book a consultation and we will show you screens for your network.
