01

The challenge

Cosmo Films is a global specialty-films manufacturer — BOPP, CPP, BOPET and PET-G films, synthetic paper, coated and metallized films — serving packaging, lamination and labelling customers across more than a hundred countries from manufacturing in India. A website for a company like this is not a brochure; it is a corporate platform that has to speak to several very different audiences at once.

Four audiences, one domain

  • Technical buyers need to navigate a deep, specification-heavy product range and find the exact film grade for an application — food, pharma, personal care, industrial.
  • A global market means the site cannot assume English. Buyers in different regions expect the site in their own language.
  • Corporate and ESG stakeholders — investors, auditors, partners, prospective employees — arrive for leadership information, certifications, sustainability and CSR reporting, news, awards and careers.
  • Sustainability positioning matters commercially. PVC-free and recyclable film lines are a differentiator, and the site has to communicate ESG credibly rather than as marketing gloss.

The challenge was to make a large, multilingual, content-heavy corporate estate navigable and maintainable — a product range that a non-technical visitor can browse and a specifier can drill into, wrapped in a corporate site that the company's own team can keep current across languages and sections.

02

What we built

We built the corporate platform on Laravel so the product taxonomy, the multilingual content, and the corporate/ESG sections are managed as one governed system rather than as isolated microsites.

A product architecture built for specification, not just display

Films are organised by family — BOPP, CPP, BOPET, PET-G, synthetic paper, rigid packaging, capacitor-grade, lidding and label films, and the PVC-free "green" range — and by application. A product-finder pattern lets a technical visitor move from an application need to a candidate grade, with downloadable brochures and documentation attached where a specifier expects them.

Multilingual as structure, not translation bolt-on

The site is delivered in multiple languages spanning its major markets. Content is modelled so that a page and its translations are the same entity in different locales, which is what keeps a global site coherent as it grows rather than drifting into per-language forks that slowly disagree with each other.

The corporate and ESG estate as managed content

Leadership profiles, awards and certifications, facility information, sustainability and CSR reporting, news and media coverage, exhibitions, and careers are all first-class content types in the CMS. The company's team publishes and updates these directly — corporate communications should never require a developer.

Server-rendered, discoverable, maintainable

Blade-rendered pages keep this large content estate fast and search-friendly, with WhatsApp and contact paths for inbound enquiries. A conventional Laravel + MySQL foundation keeps a site of real breadth on a single, operable platform.

03

The outcome

The result is a single corporate platform that serves a technical product audience and a corporate/investor audience across multiple languages, administered by the company rather than by an agency.

What the platform delivers

  • A navigable specialty-films catalogue organised by film family and application, with product-finder navigation and attached documentation for technical buyers.
  • A multilingual footprint covering the company's major global markets, with translations handled as structured content rather than duplicated sites.
  • A complete corporate and ESG estate — leadership, certifications, sustainability and CSR, careers, news and media — all editable in-house through the CMS.

Why it holds up as the company grows

Modelling products, translations and corporate content as governed content types means new grades, new language coverage, new certifications and new reports are additions to an existing system, not new builds. For a manufacturer whose credibility rests partly on being visibly global and visibly responsible, the website carries that positioning consistently in every language and every section.

Just as importantly, the marketing and communications team owns day-to-day publishing. The platform's job is to make a genuinely large corporate estate feel small to run, and that is the outcome that keeps a site like this current years after launch.
